27 children, great teaching, exciting activities and lots of mud made for an incredible weekend away for some of our 8-11 year olds. The Oakes activity centre was the perfect base for the weekend. What could be better than staying in a mansion, learning more about the Bible and getting to choose plenty of exciting activities including rafting, archery, craft, a low ropes course (including an awesome zip line) remote control cars and plenty more?! Throw in tuck shop and free time to hang out in the basement fully equipped with pool tables, table football etc and you can see why no one wanted to leave!
The Oakes team were incredible and although everyone was tired by the end, we all left as excited as we arrived. We had so much fun that we’ve already booked for next year! Put the weekend of 21st-23rd June 2013 in your diaries and start to get excited!
