These questions accompany the Sunday sermons and are designed to be discussed in cell and cluster communities.

Starter questions:

  1. What are you focussing on in your life?  God?  If not, what?
  2. Do you still believe that the testimony of your life and community has the power to transform lives?
  3. What is God doing in your life?  In your community?

Application

Ask God for opportunities to tell your story this week.

Title: Christ

Bible base: Mark 8: 21, 27-30

Starter questions:

  1. If someone asked you, “are you a Christian?” how would you answer?  Yes – probably – not sure – no?
  2. If yes, how would you then explain what a Christian is?  (3 mins!)
  3. Read the Bible passage above.  What stands out for you?
  4. How is Jesus the Christ, Messiah, and Saviour to you?

Application:

As a cell / cluster, pray for the presence of Jesus, the Christ, to be more real to you over the next weeks and months.

Title: Transforming

Starter questions:

  1. Think of 3 key ‘influences’ in your life.  What are they?  Share together.
  2. Read the Bible passage above.  What stands out for you?  What do you think verses 18 and 21 mean?

Application:

As individuals and as a cell / cluster, how does Jesus ‘influence’ you in what you say, what you do, and how you live?  Share together.  How has Jesus ‘influenced’ our church?
