Daily Prayers  Daily Prayers give some regular, set points in the day to meet with God in different ways.
We gather for prayers every weekday at 9am, and also 12pm and 3pm (except Friday). Of course, we can pray as individuals wherever we are and at any time, but the Crookes church building is open during the week, and particularly at the above times, as a 'place for space'.
The themes for the 'set' prayer times are as follows:
- 9am - "IN" - time to worship and to pray for one another.
- Every weekday, all year! Each day has a theme as follows:
- Monday: Thanksgiving
- Tuesday: Discipleship (led by form trainees during term time)
- Wednesday: Kingdom
- Thursday: Word (Sunday’s speaker gives a short preview!)
- Friday: Intercession - "PUSH on Friday" (using the prayer cards)
- 12pm - "OUT" - time to pray for the world.
- Monday - Thursday: a 15-minute audio-visual presentation.
- 3pm - "UP" - time to rest with God.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: a 15-minute audio-visual presentation. On Wednesdays during term time, a group of students and others gather to pray particularly for students and related issues.
