Getting Involved
So you want to get involved? There are lots of ways to do so! The first thing is always to join a cluster and get into community - but after that, here are some other things to consider.
We have a number of teams that help with Sunday Gatherings and other events, who are always on the lookout for keen volunteers. This can be a great way of getting to know some more people. These are listed in no particular order:
- WORSHIP - if you play an instrument or sing...
- AUDIO VISUAL - if you'd like to help with sound engineering or projection of visuals (training provided)...
- CREATIVE MEDIA - if you're into photography, film-making, web design or any other aspect of multimedia...
- ADMIN - if you fancy making flyers, addressing envelopes or putting the inserts in CD cases...
- HOSPITALITY - if you make a great cup of tea or are a whiz with chocolate biscuits (and can resist eating them all yourself!)...
- KIDS or YOUTH - if you'd like to help out with one of the many Sunday or midweek groups for kids aged 0-11 or youth aged 11-18…
- GARDENING - if you could help keep our hedges & borders looking nice...
- CLEANING - from polishing the communion cups to scrubbing the kitchen floor!
- DIY - helping the Estates team (caretakers) with practical projects around the building...
- ANYTHING ELSE? - If you've got another skill you think might be helpful, just get in touch!
