It's so encouraging to share stories of the miraculous healings that God is doing! We hope that these true stories encourage you as you read them. (Names have been removed for privacy reasons). Remember our God can do anything and loves to bless us!
RECENT HEALINGS
Healed of conjunctivitis. 'K asked for prayer this morning for severe conjunctivitis. She was suffering badly from itching. After prayer, the itching subsided quite dramatically. She said it was MUCH better than when she came'. H
Back healed. [E] lifted something a few days ago and his back was injured. On Sunday he was still in a lot of pain and unable to lift. After prayer, he could still feel some pain, but by Monday morning it had completely gone'. H
Legs get better. 'On Monday 'I' came to morning prayers. Her legs were feeling weak and shakey and had been for a few days. After receiving prayer she unexpectedly was given a doctor's appointment and began treatment for an infection. By Wednesday she was much better.' H
Some healings. After prayer a man was healed of jaundice and a boy healed of an eye infection. One boy has had limited movement in his legs since birth meaning that he is usually only able to stand and make a few steps with support. After prayer for him one Sunday night his parents took him home and he was able to walk further than before that evening! Since then his condition hasn't improved but his parents are certain that there was change that night.
'We visited a home yesterday and a man we met recounted this recent story: his wife had been to the doctors and had been diagnosed with high blood pressure which was life-threatening. The couple were so overwrought they went home and prayed fervently for God to heal her. A short time later they went to see another doctor who confirmed that the wife's blood pressure was normal'. D
Healed of Cancer. '[God has brought] me through cancer and completely healed me of it.
'This particular journey began in the summer of 2007 with a routine doctor's appointment. It was followed by several [more]...[when], in September 2007, the cancer was confirmed. I can't even begin to describe the fear, anger, confusion and shock that I knew during the first three to four weeks. I really needed to tell the Lord that I didn't even know if I could trust Him. I had to be real with Him.
'When eventually He brought me through this, I'd arrived at a place of acceptance and I even knew overflowing joy, despite having...cancer. There was no way I could have got through this. The chemo- and radio-therapy and their side effects left me really wiped out, but during the whole time I was so aware of my Heavenly Father holding me in His arms and carrying me just as if I was a small child.
'He brought me to a place where I was utterly dependent on Him alone, and also brought me to a place of deeper trust. I saw that, even though I was having treatment, and that to all appearances my life was in the hands of the medical team, the Lord Jesus was over and above all of this.
'It was a personal experience of having to come face to face with the reality of something...dreadful, that I just did not have the capacity to even crawl through on my own, and in that place I experienced the Lord's overwhelming love and tender care carrying me through it all...Along [with this I had] the Holy Spirit's assurance that this was the path He had chosen for me...ie: medical treatment [and not] His supernatural healing, which I pleaded for. There was also a strong assurance throughout that the illness wouldn't end in death.
'There really isn't a pit so deep and dark that the Lord Jesus can't reach down into.
'I am fully clear now and the prognosis is...in my favour...I praise God and thank Him for my life and know that it had nothing to do with me, but was all His grace, love and mercy that got me through.' B
Eyesight restored. 'Read your web site and I want to tell my story. I was diagnosed with an eye disease that was potentially blinding three years ago. It was by nature autoimmune and very hard to get under control. To make a long story short I was left with 20/100 vision in one eye and the other eye had much blindness. I could see very little and the most part there was no vision. I prayed for a few days and one evening I noticed the blind eye suddenly had like a lot of activity, very quick small lights going off and on. The "permanent" blindness in my eye was a graycolor. My eye started dripping this color of fluid like tears. After awhile thanks be to God my sight to this eye was totally restored. I can't thank God enough!! I have been praying for my dad to be healed of lung cancer and Parkinson disease. I hope God treats him as wonderful as He did me'. K
