We believe in a God who can move mountains!
In the Bible we read that God "moves mountains without their knowing it" (Job 9:5) - and Jesus once said, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20)
A mustard seed is roughly the size of a full stop (period). A full stop is a tiny thing, but it has a very specific and definite effect. Faith also has a definite effect - things change! Here are some true stories of circumstances and situations that have changed when people have prayed to God and had faith. For stories about healings, see the "God heals today" page. If you have a story you would like to share, please email movingmountains@stthomascrookes.org.
