The idea of the Network/Family clusters is to be a place of belonging for people from all kinds of backgrounds, ages and walks of life!
Here are the details about the network/family clusters...
Ambassadors for Christ
We are a vibrant group of mixed ages based in the area of Sheffield near the Northern General Hospital - Fir Vale, Grimesthorpe and Page Hall - and we meet every Wednesday from 7-8pm. We hope that you can make it!
Leaders: Benson & Joyce Ikini
Extended Family
Extended Family is made up of people of all ages and at different stages of life. We believe that everyone can belong to God’s bigger family and in our cluster we can be family to each other.
We meet every week on Wednesday nights, three times a month as cell and once as cluster. ‘Meeting and eating’ is a big part of our philosophy and we meet once a month to share a meal together. We enjoy going on outings and taking part in Besom and Love Sheffield projects like litter picking, prayer walking and painting houses.
Leader: Jenni Brown & Helena Marsh
Go Global!
Go Global! is a cluster for international people and anyone who has an interest in things international!
Eat food - pray for the nations - apply the Bible to life
Leaders: Albert & Hiroko Ong
Grace
Grace Cluster is seeking to develop the work with senior citizens in Crookes. This involves a new monthly service on Sundays. We also meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, including praise, testimony and prayer.
Leaders: Alan & Stella Harrison
Simplicity
WA community that is passionate about the heart of the gospel (Matt 22: 37-39) - to simply love God, love people, love creation, and follow Jesus.
Simple Lives: to be open and available, giving space to see and respond to God, others and the world around. Simple Faith: to see God’s Kingdom come in all that we are and all that we do. To confront social injustice, seeking change and transformation by being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Simplicity meets on a Thursday evening.
Leaders: Katherine Lowry & Marian Smith
Xtend
We are a mixed-age cluster - currently 3 cell groups. We love to meet together and hold regular social events to invite our friends to: termly teas, barbecues, cheese & wine evenings, and walks.
We meet 3 times a month as cells and then use the other week to meet as cluster for envisioning, or a social event, or “Get Out and Do Something” (“GODS week”) building relationships with friends.
We are also getting involved with Besom and Love Sheffield.
