St Thomas Crookes Floral Team have produced a great 2012 calendar!  Each month has a picture of one of their best flower displays from the last year including arrangements created for weddings, festivals and ordinary Sundays. The calendars cost £6 each and are available from church reception.  All the proceeds from sales will be going towards the Campus Redevelopment Project.

This month’s School of Theology was fantastic! The 3 sessions, on “God in a World of Pain”, “Incarnation” and “Wisdom Literature”, stirred up some great questions and discussion. Over 150 people met on Sunday 13th November at the First Steps church plant for families. Together we were learning that Jesus is the Light of the World – by parents completing a blindfolded obstacle course, and children making a candle to take home. Here at Crookes we have a fantastic team of passionate and dedicated students and “grown-ups” who give their time on a Sunday morning to get stuck into the Kids’ Church experience.
