More of what's coming up

St Thomas Crookes has a passion to encourage disciples to get involved and think about theology - which simply means thinking about God.

The School of Theology offers an opportunity to listen to some of the best thinkers and communicators of Christian faith today, to chew over these ideas with others, and a great way to get to know people who are on the same journey as you are.

This year we're partnering with Holy Trinity Brompton in London to bring to St Thomas Crookes the best theologians and Bible teachers from around the country. Each session will either be a live speaker or a big screen showing of a DVD filmed at HTB, and there are two tracks: a 'Faith' track and a 'Bible' track.

There are ten Saturday morning sessions, 9.30am-1pm, over the course of the year.  These are open to anyone and everyone - you don't need to be a member of St Thomas Crookes and you don't have to have studied any theology before.

The course costs £95 for the whole year or you can book for individual sessions at a rate of £14 (adult), £6 (unwaged/retired) or £3 (students).

For more details see www.schooloftheology.org.uk.

If you would like a brochure/booking form, please email us or telephone 0114 2671090.

The School of Theology is an opportunity to hear great teaching on key theology, to discuss the implications together and to begin to put it into action!
