Serve the City
At St Thomas Crookes we are exploring various ways of ‘Serving the City’ and making a difference to the lives of others.
Clusters
All cells and clusters are actively seeking to support and provide for the needs of those within their immediate and wider communities. There are all sorts of ways that we can help practically, such as gardening, decorating, or simply offering hospitality and friendship. Find out more about cells and clusters...
There are also specific initiatives developing in Crookes and around the city which are helping to provide support for groups of people who are often found on the edges of the community, such as older people, the deaf community, or internationals such as Chinese and Slovakian.
Social Action Initiatives
Seeking to confront the sharp inequalities that exist and the devastating impact they have on people's lives, through activities such as:

Besom (a Christian charity that helps us give our time, skills, quality items and money to those most in need in our city - working alongside local government and other agencies)

Supporting various charities both in the UK and overseas.
- Philadelphia Vulnerable Peoples’ Ministries (soup runs, befriending schemes, outreach to prostitutes)
