The Vision
God has given us a life to live and our desire is to live that life better by living a God life. Jesus lived this life and we see this demonstrated as a balanced life in three dimensions which are
UP - IN - OUT
That is:
| UP - | the time he spent with God his Father; |
| IN - | the time he spent with his disciples, his community of faith, his friends; and |
| OUT - | time he spent with those in need in the world, showing them in word and action the better life he came to bring. |
Our vision is to develop this God life as we seek to…
| meet friends (IN) – | Many today are seeking friendship, and this church is a place where everyone is welcome and will find a place to ‘meet friends’. |
| meet God (UP) – | When we gather in our smaller communities (Clusters and Cells) and particularly in our Sunday Gatherings, our desire is to meet God, so that everyone will know the power and presence of Jesus at work in their lives in that encounter time. |
| live life better (OUT) – | This means living a life that is worth getting out of bed for each morning! |
Jesus said these words to his followers: ‘I came so that they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they could ever dream of’ (John 10:10, The Message)
This is the better life: a life with energy, passion, commitment and confidence in the future.
