At St Thomas Crookes, we believe that anything that adults can experience with God, so can children, and that our kids deserve the very best that we can offer.

There’s a big world out there, and some really difficult issues for kids to face as they grow up. However, church for adults does not necessarily excite kids – and therefore too many children face these issues without the power of God within them.

The obvious solution: church for kids… games, worship and the Word delivered just for them. Relevant, exciting and no adults allowed! Problem solved! Every Sunday we explore radical and relevant reasons to know God.

Crèche (0-3s) – Even the tiniest tots can know God’s love and feel the welcome of the church family. We provide an environment in which children feel safe and happy, releasing parents to meet with God in the main service. We gently teach the children Bible truths through free play, story time with puppets, craft and songs. And we even have our own ball pool!

Sparklers and Dynamites (3-7s) – You are never too young to get to know God. Using games, stories, songs, craft and other activities we provide kids with the space to explore faith and learn to live like Jesus. Our hope is that children leave these groups shining bright in the world.

Boulders and Sunday Rock (7-11s) – We want your kids to realise God’s awesome power within them, be affirmed in their identity, and face the world with confidence. We encourage kids to live out their faith every day, and call others to join in the adventure. Our 7-11s are set to become a blazing new generation living for Jesus!
